1. Heating

Because of the long winter season heating is of the utmost importance in Bansko. Not only does Pirin Lodge feature state-of-the-art exterior and interior insulation but there is a central fuel heating system with radiators in all apartments and common areas to assure a high level of comfort. This form of heating is also cheaper and more efficient to operate than electrical radiators that most other developers offer. Whats more each apartment has its own metre so you only pay for the heating you use.

2. Fireplaces

All apartments are equipped with fireplaces for cosy and romantic evenings after a wonderful day of skiing or snowboarding. These have been included for a more asthetic and atmospheric appeal in the apartments and are not strictly required to heat the property due to the central heating.

3. Hot Water

Pirin Lodge is one of the few developments that features electronic flow water heaters in every apartment. They produce on demand as much hot water as is needed. It is more traditional for developments th have fixed Electric Water Heaters with fixed literages that are prone to running out of hot water during periods of high demand and requiring a period of time to allow additional water to be heated. Flow Water heaters are also more cost efficient since they only consume electricity while they are working.

4. Internet Corner

Next to the lobby bar of Pirin Lodge will be the internet corner where patrons and guests can quickly check their emails or surf the net, free of charge. Of course, in addition there will be the possibility for individual internet access in every apartment.

5. Central Laundry Facility

Pirin Lodge is equipped with a central laundry facility with several washers and dryers. Washing powder will be readily available from the concierge. This makes taking care of the laundry easy and comfortable.

6. Sky Sports and Movie Channel TV

The in-house TV system will provide Sky Sports and several movie channels, not to miss major sports events or to entertain the family when one does not want to go out.

7. Outdoor Boule/Petanque and Curling Lane

For those days in winter when one does not feel like going on the slopes maybe a little curling competition with some friends or neighbours and some local “Rakia”-brandy  is just the right thing. Or Boule in summer. The Pirin Lodge staff will provide the necessary equipment and know-how of the games free of charge.

8. Wellness Centre

The Wellness Centre with its Sauna, Turkish steam bath and whirlpool is just the right thing after a day on the slopes. To top it off there is a massage facility where qualified therapists apply relaxation, sports and therapeutic massages upon appointment - at very reasonable local prices. Pirin Lodge does not offer a gym or a large pool, howver discounted rates have been negotiated for Pirin Lodge patrons to use the facilities of a nearby exquisite pool and gym facilities at discounted rates.

9. Private Ski Storage

All apartments come with private cellars. They are perfect for storing ski equipment or personal belongings of the owners during rental periods. For gourmet owners they may serve as wine storage for the excellent and inexpensive Bulgarian wines.

10. Bathrooms

All bathrooms are fully tiled and fitted with high class ceramics, shower cubicles and fixtures - ready to be used.

11. Kitchens

The open-plan kitchens are fully furnished and fitted with international quality brand refrigerators, cookers and ovens.

12. Floors, Walls and Finishing

The floors to the kitchen and entrance halls are tiled for easy cleaning. Living room and bedroom floors come with real hardwood parquet or upon request carpeted according to the owners choice. All walls and ceilings are painted and electrical sockets and switches installed as standard. Every apartment has its telephone and internet socket as well as a cable TV outlet. All windows and balcony doors are double-glazed and of German quality to provide maximum energy and sound insulation as well as longevity.

Nearly all apartments have a balcony with stunning views to the mountains. A few apartments even have their own private fenced garden/courtyard. The balconies will have wooden impregnated rails and Granitogres floorings to withstand all weather conditions.

The reception, corridors and common areas are thoroughly designed in the local fstyle using wood and stone which gives Pirin Lodge a unique, cosy and pleasant atmosphere. All common areas will be fully furnished to exacting standards.

13. Fire Safety

Pirin Lodge is equipped with the most modern smoke and fire detection systems to protect the owners and their guests. This may likely become even a legal requirement after Bulgaria joins the EU.

14. Security

The Pirin Lodge premises will be staffed 24 hours a day to provide maximum security in all situations.

15. Reception

There will be a 24 hour reception service to welcome owners and guests. At Pirin Lodge this is not where service stops but where it starts.

16. Firewood Supply Service

The concierge will deliver firewood directly to the apartment.

17. Delivery Service

Patrons of Pirin Lodge can submit their shopping lists for everyday goods like milk, bread, food, drinks to the concierge and delivery will be made the next morning to the apartment. This removes the hassle from having to go to small Bulgarian shops without speaking the language.

18. Convenience Store

The Pirin Lodge staff will operate a small store with drinks, snacks, cigarettes, cosmetics and emergency items like toilet paper, tooth paste etc.

19. Personal Concierge Service

The concierge will organise the following services performed by English speaking associates: private ski and snowboard lessons for kids and adults, babysitting, chauffeured excursions, airport transfers, shopping assistance, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing tours, paragliding, rafting or mountain tours and more.
